What is pavement maintenance?

Sealcoating

Sealcoating is one of the key ways to regularly maintain existing asphalt. It applies a protective layer on top of the asphalt to keep it safe from rain, oil, gas, UV rays, and more. It can also make the asphalt look better since it gives it a new dark finish.

Crack Sealing

Crack sealing will fill in any cracks in the asphalt to help protect it from further damage. It is for minor spot treatment for little cracks in the pavement. This is often combined with sealcoating.
