Methods of Repair

Depending on the level of damage, sometimes restoring the correct drainage patterns to a parking lot requires removing the sunken pavement and reconstructing sub-grade and base rock before replacing with concrete or asphalt. Less severe sunken areas or poorly draining sections of pavement can be re-leveled by applying a tack coat of asphalt emulsion and overlaying the area with a finer mix of hot asphalt concrete.
