What is in the future for concrete? How will our roads look in the year 2040? A recent publication by the American Concrete Pavement Association titled VISION2040 lays out some ideas that they think will be in place in the next 20 plus years.
ACPA put together a group of 25 experts to envision the future of the transportation industry and concrete specifically in the year 2040. The group discussed increasing truck traffic, driverless vehicles, e-commerce, distribution of goods, dedicated freight networks, and alternative roadway ownership models.
