More than 700 people are killed in a work zone annually. Even ONE is too many, which is why a number of pavement industry allies are working together to get drivers to proceed with caution through work zones. The plan is to inform highway and roadway drivers of the dangers of distracted driving while in construction work zones.
ACPA states that: The group will use social media and other communications, as well as a toolkit that includes infographics, social media tools, testimonials, and other resources. The push for awareness will come next week, April 20-24. #WatchForUs
