Project Overview – Concrete work in Emeryville
DRYCO completed a structural concrete project for W.L. Butler Construction in Emeryville, California. Our team provided expert jobsite supervision, equipment, and materials to support the construction of this complex structure. Here are some of the key elements of the job:
-
Jobsite Supervision and coordination for smooth operations.
-
Excavated 1,650 cubic yards of material, hauling it off-site as clean spoils.
-
Constructed 12″ thick concrete footings for the elevator pit and 2,380 linear feet of grade beam footings.
-
Built concrete walls around the loading dock, ramp, and surrounding areas, totaling 210 linear feet.
-
Poured slabs on grade for the ramp and dock, including a 6” slab at the start of the ramp and an 8” dock slab.
-
Installed crushed rock and vapor barriers under the new slab for added durability.
-
Created dock levelers, including both 8″ and 6″ slabs, and other essential foundation elements.
-
Built deadman footings and trench systems, constructing 1,300 linear feet of continuous footings.
With DRYCO’s full-service approach and attention to detail, the project was completed on time and to the highest standards. Our team’s commitment to quality concrete work ensured the project would meet long-term structural needs.
