Scope of Work
CEMENT TREATED BASE METHOD
- Asphalt Demolition: Grind and remove existing asphalt approx. avg 2.5″ in depth. Off haul debris. Also remove approx. 1″ to 1.5″ of base material to allow for swelling of treated base application. Off-haul soils.
- Soil Stabilization Work: Treat and mix 5% cement to a depth of 12″ over entire designated area to stabilize and dry up sub-grade. Fine grade in preparation for paving.
- 3″ Asphalt Paving: Place and compact 3″ of hot mix asphalt in one lift.
- LS Striping: Restripe all existing pavement markings as per present layout. Includes parking stalls, ADA stalls and cross hatched. Work to be done in conjunction with asphalt work.
