Asphalt Restoration at Frontierland Park – Pacifica, CA

Project Description

Scope of Work

  • Type 3 barricades at yosemite and humboldt intersection, miscellaneous cones & barricades. Flag men for trucks on large off-haul days and/or pave days.
  • Install basic erosion control measures to prevent runoff
  • Demolish and remove 1,350 SF of existing asphalt assumed to be 4″ thick. Scarify, grade and compact 26,700 SF area in preparation of 2″ asphalt section
  • Form edges for new concrete sidewalk and ramp Type B per City of Pacifica detail
  • Remove and replace 32 LF of Type A curb & gutter at driveway approach into park
  • Furnish and place 160 LF of standard extruded asphalt berm at 1 locations using self-propelled berm machine
  • and install 21 EA 3′ long pre-cast concrete wheel stops using pin down method
  • Relocate 1 EA sign and existing sign post
  • Paint all new pavement markings using standard traffic paint
  • Type 3 barricades at yosemite and humboldt intersection, miscellaneous cones & barricades
  • Grind and remove 12,250 SF of existing asphalt assumed to be 4″ thick. Off-haul and dispose of debris
  • Replace entrance gate with new gate
  • Install 4″ perforate pipe that ties-into existing storm drain structure
  • Extend new sub drain an additional 50 LF
  • Pulverize existing asphalt, base rock and gravel areas included in base bid area and additive area as indicated
