Project Description
DRYCO completed a full asphalt and concrete replacement project for San Carlos School in Monterey, CA, helping the school upgrade its campus with safer, more durable walkways and access points. The project involved the demolition and removal of existing concrete surfaces that had become worn and uneven over time, creating potential hazards for students, staff, and visitors. We had to place and compact 10,430 sf of concrete in varying thicknesses, totaling 1,980 tons throughout the school campus.
Our team carefully prepared the subgrade before installing new concrete sidewalks, ADA-compliant access ramps, and curbs, ensuring proper drainage, accessibility, and long-term durability. Special attention was given to ensuring that ADA requirements were met, creating a more inclusive and functional environment for everyone on campus.
Working around an active school schedule, DRYCO coordinated closely with school administrators to minimize disruption and maintain a safe jobsite throughout the project. Safety, efficiency, and quality were top priorities from start to finish.
The result was a clean, attractive upgrade that not only improved the appearance of the campus but also enhanced safety and compliance for daily school operations.
